Ordering on SevunDesign.com is easy and safe. Once you have found the item you would like to purchase, click on the “Add to Cart” button to place it in your Shopping Bag. Follow the directions through the checkout process to complete your order. 

Your order will not be placed until the very end of the checkout process when you will be asked for your credit card information.

How do I care for my jewelry?

Gold and Platinum Jewelry

Sevun Design jewelry is made with precious metals like gold and platinum but cleaning them is as easy as simply rinsing them with warm, mild soap water. While scratches from wear are inevitable, especially with precious metals that are worn daily, do not hesitate in bringing in your jewelry for a quick re-polish or re-plating. Both will quickly restore your jewelry and make them shine like new.

For jewelry with stone mountings, make sure the stones have not loosened from impact or wear and tear. If you are unsure of the stone’s mounting, feel free to contact us and we’ll help you find the right care for your jewelry. The silk strings found in our pearl necklaces can also show wear and tear after many uses. If it stretches out or exhibits any issues, bring it in and we’ll gladly take care of it.

Between professional servicing, most gold and platinum jewelry can be maintained with a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not exposing gold jewelry to household bleach. Examine your jewelry regularly to make sure settings are snug and clasps and joinings are secure.

At time of purchase, Sevun jewelry is wrapped in a protective box or case. Between wearings, we recommend that you place it back in its original case or another suitably lined box or pouch.

Gemstone Jewelry

Diamond Jewelry
Dirt and oil from your hands can turn a stunning diamond to one that is greasy and dull. There are many ways to clean the hardest material in world, like using an ultrasonic cleaner or a steam cleaner, but these methods can shake stones loose from their mountings. We recommend cleaning your Sevun diamond jewelry with warm,
mild soap water and a soft toothbrush. Finish by wiping dry with a lint-free cloth.

Diamond jewelry should also be stored individually as diamonds can scratch other diamonds. Also avoid dropping diamonds. While they are the hardest material in the world, they aren’t indestructible. If the impact is hard enough, it can
crack. Finally, avoid direct contact with makeup, perfumes, hair spray, and other corrosive chemicals.

Precious Gemstone Jewelry

Every stone has different toughness and hardness. As such, they need to be treated with special care. Start by storing your gemstones individually to prevent one from scratching the other. Avoid direct impact and do not wear your precious gemstone jewelry when doing anything active or strenuous. Even something as seemingly innocuous as clapping while wearing a diamond eternity ring on one hand and another gemstone ring with your other can cause damage to the gemstone ring.


Not all gemstones are safe for ultrasonic or steam cleaning. To be safe, we recommend cleaning your Sevun precious gemstone jewelry with warm, mild soap water and a soft toothbrush, finishing by wiping dry with a lint-free cloth.


Avoid rapid changes in temperature and avoid leaving your precious gemstone jewelry under direct sunlight or in any excessively hot or dry environment. Also avoid contact with makeup, perfume, hair spray, or any corrosive chemical.

Pearl Jewelry

Pearls are extremely soft and are easily scratched. Special care must be taken with pearl jewelry. After each wear, wipe them with a soft, clean cloth and store them individually to avoid impact with other jewelry or objects. Occasionally, clean them with a damp cloth to help restore moisture.


Avoid rapid changes in temperature and avoid placing them under direct sunlight or in any excessively hot or dry environments. Also avoid contact with makeup, perfume, hair spray, or any corrosive chemical. If you wear your pearls regularly, we encourage you to have your cultured pearls cleaned and restrung annually.

How can I get an item repaired?

We repair items made by Sevun Design. You may either bring your item to the Sevun Design showroom or send in your item via mail.

How much does it cost to repair my Sevun Design jewelry?

The cost to repair a Sevun product varies and is determined after an assessment is made by one of our repair professionals. Repair pricing varies based on the type of product, material and/or gemstone. When the assessment is complete, we will send you a free estimate. Gold and platinum repairs start at US$100.

How often should I get my jewelry cleaned?

We recommend customers bring jewelry in at least once a year. Items worn regularly should be cleaned and checked every few months. This is especially true for engagement rings but applies to all regularly worn pieces.

How should I store and organize my jewelry?

It is important to properly store jewelry when traveling, moving or at home in between uses. Keep jewelry in a storage box away from the elements whenever possible and separated to prevent pieces from becoming tangled or disarranged.

Can your Sevun Design jewelry get wet?

While most of your Sevun Design jewelry can get wet with little to no impact, we recommend removing all Sevun Design jewelry before engaging in the following activities:

- Household and outdoor chores
- Showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs, hot springs and the ocean
- Using lotion, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics
- Exercising at the gym or during contact sports
- Preparing meals

Does gold tarnish?

Gold does tarnish and scratch over time. To preserve the luster of your gold jewelry, avoid exposure to household bleach and other cleaning products, which will quickly cause gold to discolor and possibly disintegrate. We recommend that you store your gold jewelry in a safe place when engaging in these activities:

  • Performing household and outdoor chores (i.e., cleaning and gardening)
  • Showering, bathing or swimming in pools, hot tubs, hot springs and the ocean
  • Using lotion, hair products, fragrances and other cosmetics
  • Exercising at the gym or during contact sports
  • Preparing meals


When not being worn, we recommend that you place your gold jewelry back in its  Sevun Design  Blue® flannel pouch for safekeeping.

How to remove scratches from gold and platinum

Only polishing will remove scratches from gold and platinum. However, the patina of fine scratches that develops over time can add beauty to the jewelry and can reflect the journey a piece has taken. The polishing process removes metal and is only recommended to be carried out a few times over the life of the piece.


We recommend that gold and platinum only be polished by a professional.

Shipping & Returns FAQ

What shipping options are available on SevunDesign.com?

Shipping Rates & Times


Online orders are shipped through Fedex with insurance. To ensure the secure delivery of your order,  Sevun Design does not ship orders to post office boxes, or countries which Fedex does not offer secured services.

How can I make returns or exchanges?

Articles are accepted for credit or exchange if returned in new and saleable condition within 30 days, accompanied by a sales receipt. Some exclusions may apply. Please note that all bespoke items, items that are personalized with engraving, etching, embossing and other services may not be returned or exchanged.

A refund will be made to the purchaser upon request if payment has been received. Cash refunds are not available for returns made outside of Hong Kong.

Can I track my online order?

A shipping notification with tracking details will be sent via email after your order has shipped. You will receive multiple email acknowledgements if your order results in more than one shipment.

Can I ship my order to an international location?

Yes, we ship to all international destinations where Fedex can provide secured shipping services. 

How long does a Sevun Design order take to ship?

Please allow 1-2 business days for in-stock Sevun items to be shipped. Bespoke or out-of-stock items will require a longer time. Please contact us for more information.

Are Sevun Design products insured when shipped?

Sevun is responsible for orders until the package is delivered to the customer. If the package goes missing, Sevun may choose to open an investigation with the carrier to determine the responsible party. Please contact us if your order details indicate the package has been delivered but nothing was received.

How much is shipping?

Shipping rates differs from each location. Please contact us for estimated shipping costs to your destination. 

What is a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) mean?

International Duties and Taxes

We ship our merchandise in DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid), i.e., product prices displayed are exclusive of all taxes and duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. 

We are unable to calculate the amount of duties and taxes your package will incur as these charges are imposed directly by your local customs. The international carrier may invoice you for the local taxes and duties.If you have any questions related to customs charges, please contact your local customs office.

Who pays for DDU shipments?

DDU (delivery duty unpaid) means that the customer is responsible for paying the taxes and duties. They will be contacted by customs once their shipment arrives  to settle any charges in order for the shipment to be released and delivered.
